Q. When is the ‘Network Managed By’ relationship created?

A. Every other day whenever EP chain releases the employee file.  

Q. What time is ‘Network Managed By’ relationship assigned?

A. It currently runs between 5 am to 6 am every other day. Jaewon Lee has added the project to the testdirector to update this file every night from HR so in the future the relationship will be updated everyday.  

Q. What types of UF Employees get this relationship?

A. All active UF employees have this ‘Network Managed By’ relationship type
Based on this file, we are creating the following relationships:

• 192 - FACULTY
• 193 - USPS
• 194 - OPS
• 195 - TEAMS
• 119 - DIRECTOR
• 121 - DEAN
• 123 - VICE PRES
• 197 - COURTESY
• 199 - RETIREE
• 205 - UF EXECUTIVE
• 219 - AEF BASE EMPLOYEE
• 120 - DEPT CHAIR
• 122 - PRESIDENT
• 124 - PROVOST

All current students have this network managed by relationship.

Proposed change:

• IF A STUDENT, AND NO ACTIVE NMB (NETWORK MANAGED BY) THEN
  CREATE A NEW RELATIONSHIP NMB with DEPT ID = 'ST010000'
• IF AN EMPLOYEE AND NO NMB THEN
  CREATE A NEW RELATIONSHIP WITH HOME DEPT
  (this means the employee does not have an inactive NMB relationships)
