1. Mail Exchange Modifications
• Change default SMTP mail queue and temp mail folder location for performance
• Make Boot file modification for front end servers
• Change outbound back end SMTP virtual servers to smart host to front end servers
• Apply connection filter for SMTP virtual servers
• Modify contacts display name
• Modify distribution and security groups display name
• Change applicable contacts to users with an established email

2. UFAD Recommendations for naming
• For Distribution Lists
• The Display name should be similar to:
  ". IFAS-distribution_list "
  *note the period (.) preceeding the list name; this ensures distribution lists will appear at the top of the Global Address List. Also the Display name can be different from the alias and email address

• For External Contacts
• The Display Name should be in the format:
  Last, First - IFAS
  *this allows the name to show up alphabetically in the GAL
• For Resouce Objects (i.e. rooms, vehicles, etc.)
• The Display name should be in the format:
  # IFAS-resource_name
