Bylaws of the ICC

Article I: Name
- IFAS Computer Coordinators (ICC for short)
Article II: Purpose/Object
- The purpose of the committee is threefold: 1) to improve cooperation among
information technologies staff, 2) to improve communications and cooperation
with the central UF/IFAS Information Technology Office, and 3) to establish
a mechanism for the information staff to contribute to UF/IFAS policy through
the Information Technologies Policy Advisory Committee (ITPAC). The focus of
the committee is to identify and bring forward technology related issues so
that they are addressed by the institution.
Article III: Members
- Eligibility: all information technology staff in UF/IFAS
Article IV: Officers
- Listed in order of rank: Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary
- Terms of office: one year
- Nominations and elections: elections held via open email vote to the ICC-L
- Duties of Chairman: set agenda, run meetings, encourage participation
- Duties of Vice-Chairman: assist Chairman, maintain membership list
- Duties of Secretary: maintain minutes of meetings
Article V: Meetings
- Regular meetings: monthly
- Quorum: 5 members, including the Chairman or his designee
- Voting: majority rules
Article VI: Parliamentary authority
Article VII: Amendment of the Bylaws
- Previous written notice and two-thirds vote are required for change
