Wireless via WIPA

Dennis Brown reports that he had a laptop come in that could not connect via WIPA. In this case it was using wireless to access the campus wireless network. It was accessing the wireless as Dennis could see in the title bar it was negotiating with the Fifield authentication gateway.

Apparently the campus secure certificate has expired. The solution, discovered by Josh (one of Dennis's support technicians) was to go to Internet options, advanced tab, Security heading and deselect “Check for server certificate revocation*”.
