Recommendation for e-mail enabling all UFAD users:

  The ICC recognizes the value of e-mail enabling all UFAD users for facilitating intercommunication among UF students, faculty and staff via the Exchange Global Address Book (GAL). We recommend that such enabling be set for individuals via the corresponding "UF official business address" entry within the UF Directory. Further, we recommend that the UF Directory incorporate real validation (perhaps via a telnet send test) into the Directory processes which set that official business e-mail address field.
